I love to swim along the California coast and in the lush kelp forest that grows here. I am the most gentle of sharks and I am friendly to humans. The dots on my body are called black saddles and I get more spots as I grow older. I can live up to 40 years old. I keep my body cleaner than most sharks even though I like to hunt for my food in the mud.
